Fencing Clubs in Queensland
Beginners are always welcome at any club. Clubs generally have many fencers at levels varying from novice to international class. Don't feel intimidated - everyone was a beginner once. Walk in, introduce yourself and ask who you should talk to to arrange lessons. You'll find that almost everyone will be very happy to point a new fencer in the right direction.
Most clubs have both group training sessions and individual lessons. As a beginner, it is advisable to join in both where possible. Don't underestimate the value of individual lessons - they will improve your technique much faster than just fencing will.
