Mini Fence (Ages 4 to 7)

Mini Fence is a special program suited for young children - it uses plastic equipment and games to introduce the fundamentals of the sport while helping kids have fun.

Mini Fence Courses are currently being offered at the following times and venues:

Wednesday 4.00 - 4.45pm at Yeronga

AUSFence Courses (Ages 7 to 18)

AUSFence is the National Development Program for Fencing and is specifically designed to introduce younger Fencers to the sport. The lessons cover the basic techniques of Fencing including footwork, attacking and parries, and give children the skills they need to develop in the sport. All basic equipment is provided and no experience is necessary.

AUSFence Courses are currently being offered at the following times and venues:

     Wednesday 4:00-5:00 pm at Yeronga

Learn to Fence Classes for Adults (Ages 16+)

QFA also runs courses specifically for adult beginners to introduce them to the sport. These classes run in six-week blocks and cover the basic techniques of fencing. All basic equipment is provided and no experience is necessary. 

Learn to Fence classes are currently being offered at the following times and venues:

     Wednesday 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Yeronga (next course starts Wednesday 21 June)

    Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Yeronga (next course starts Saturday 24 June)
