Queensland Government Roadmap to easing restrictions

Published Fri 08 May 2020

This afternoon the state government released its Roadmap to easing Queensland COVID-19 restrictions. Community sport is scheduled return as part of Stage 2 easing on 12 June 2020. A maximum of 20 participants (including coaching staff, administration, parents, children) are allowed at each session with social distancing and other public health measures remaining in place. Fencing specific activities will not be able to return until Stage 3. All clubs have been contacted to provide their COVID Safe Plans prior to the recommencement of activities. The health and safety of our community is the priority for the safe return of our sport and all activites will be monitored closely to ensure that there is compliance with all health directives and safe environments are maintained.  Competitions will not be resuming for some time.

Thank you again for your ongoing support in putting the health and safety of our Queensland Fencing community first.
