Join us for the first two events of the QFA Winter Series: Novice Sabre & Novice Epee! This competition is only for fencers with up to three years of experience, providing a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable competition experience in a supportive environment.

The events will be in the same format as the state championships: 5-point pool bouts followed by 15-point direct-elimination matches. All places will be fenced off.

This event is open to all ages! Where entry numbers allow, fencers will be divided into appropriate age categories.

Registrations open: Monday 29th June 2026 at 9:00am

Early bird closes at 11:59pm (Brisbane Time) on 28 July, 2026 (10 days before the event).

Registrations after this time attract a higher registration fee.

All registrations close at 12:00pm midday (Brisbane Time) on 7 August, 2026.

No registrations will be accepted after this time.
